Announcing the new Saturday Morning Penticton ARTS Market
Located in the Penticton Art Gallery’s parking lot, adjacent to the Ellis and Front Street roundabout at 199 Marina Way, this new Summer ARTS Market will operate in conjunction with the existing Farmers and Community Markets, from June 29 through August 31.
This new market will showcase the work of local visual artists, potters, carvers, writers, sculptors and craftspeople. Locals and visitors alike will have an opportunity to meet the artisans and partake in demonstrations within the staging area of art, music and the spoken word, or to just enjoy a peaceful and relaxing walk through the Ikeda Japanese Garden next door.
Just a short walk down Front Street, the Penticton ARTS Market will be open from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, so it can simply be added to anyone’s Saturday morning downtown market itinerary. The Penticton Art Gallery and gift shop will also be open to the public during the market, starting at 10:00 am.
